One of the many benefits of treatment with Morpheus8 is that there are very few side effects after treatment. Most often, patients may experience some mild skin redness and swelling for a day or two after treatment. Microneedling may cause small pinpoints of irritated skin that will flake off after a few days. Some soreness can be caused by radiofrequency energy, but it is almost always manageable with over-the-counter pain medication.
Since patient downtime is minimal, makeup can be applied 1 to 2 days after the treatment. Patients should expect to see micro lesions a few days after treatment and slight redness for up to 1 week depending on treatment parameters.
