We are open weekdays from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and our Med Spa from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm with closures for lunch:
- Plastic Surgery Office: 12:00–1:00 pm
- Medical Spa: 12:00–1:00 pm
New patient consultations are available by appointment.

Patient Emergencies
If you have an emergency during normal office hours, please call us immediately at 585.383.4040.
If this occurs after hours, please call our answering service at 585.453.2273.
Out-of-Town Patients
Many patients travel to Rochester to have cosmetic and reconstruction surgery with Dr. Vega. If you live outside Western New York, please plan travel and accommodations accordingly, as multiple pre- and post-operative appointments may be required.

Will Insurance Pay for My Plastic Surgery?
Most cosmetic procedures are considered elective and are not covered by insurance. However, certain reconstructive procedures, such as breast reconstruction after mastectomy, skin cancer removal, or correction of functional concerns, may qualify for insurance coverage.
At Vega Plastic Surgery, we are committed to transparency and compliance with state and federal regulations, including the “No Surprises Act.” This means you will receive clear information about your treatment plan and any financial responsibility before surgery.
All procedures performed in our Office-Based Surgery Center follow the same strict safety protocols as hospital-based care. Patient safety is always our top priority.

Your safety is our number one concern. Our office-based surgical suite is fully accredited and designed to meet the highest standards of patient care.
Dr. Vega holds privileges and operates at:

- Westfall Surgery Center
- Rochester General Hospital
Dr. Farkas operates at Unity Hospital and Rochester General Hospital. Minor procedures may also be safely performed in our accredited surgical suite.
